Just wanted to comment. And this is just what I think.
Everything that was said may not be able to be taken back but we are all here for one thing and that is we all love horror. Maybe we all my not be able to get along, maybe we can, I don’t know. We may have just started off on the wrong foot with each other and it wasn’t even focused at me. I probably took it a little too personally but that is beside the point, apologies have been said.
I just listen to podcasts nothing I say really matters.
If we give each other a chance we may find each other accually pretty funny to listen to. If not so what. You know how many podcasts are out there that some of us listen to and some not so much. You like it or you don’t. Thats the bottom line. Everyone listen to both shows and decide for your self.
Just wanted to end with thanks from me I can’t speak for themidnighthorrorshow guys but I’m glad we can maybe help promote each others show.

Hate to break it to you, Danny, but this is the first time I’ve logged into this site since Friday. Been too busy with family shit over the holiday weekend and with my wife’s birthday to even get on. I just wanted to say you seem like a decent enough guy and MHS is lucky to have a loyal fan like yourself. I also want to say that, on the whole, I am still very much a firm believer in the Horror Podcast Community. But, like any community, there is the possibility for conflict. Personalities clash. I don’t think any listener should discount the content of any of the podcasts out there based on who gets along with whom, but rather choose what to listen to on the basis of personal taste. I personally have never commented on the MHS show itself (at least I’m pretty sure I haven’t), because I don’t have an opinion. I also don’t speak for the rest of the group, because despite what has been said, there is no “leader” of the DBPN. Speaking for myself only, after what was said about Jeff’s girlfriend, an innocent bystander in all of this, I have no fucking use for the MHS. They should have kept their comments directed at the people involved. That is what is keeping this going, at least from my point of view.

That’s fine Steven. I apologize for shooting my mouth off saying it was you as “admin”. I also have apologized for the comments made about Jeff’s girlfriend. It’s so funny how you preach preach preach to watch what we say and blah blah blah..When you called out lucas on a disability and then delivered some half ass back-handed apology. After the comments you made aboutLucas, I say any ammo given to us was fair game. You and all the other members who choose to can keep this going if you like. I can do nothing more than apologize again and again…but that doesn’t seem to matter. What do you want me to do? Is it really worth keeping going? I mean, you want me to say you got the best of us..we give up…what man??? If that’s what it takes then I will do it. You can hate me and anyone else involved with the show, and I’m fine with that, but why continue to go back and forth? I’m done with this..continue to trash us all you like or just me personally..I really don’t care. I’m just going to ignore the comments and maybe one day all this shit will blow over and we can just hate the fuck out of each other in peace.

I have apologized to him already several times and I have NO PROBLEM pulling down the episode. I already did and got shit for it, thats why it went back up. Vaughn, I have no problem with you, but i understand where you are coming from in defending your friends. We did the same when Lucas was attacked. I know everyone likes to think it started with Lucas, but was asking a question about what the hell a douche pod was really warranting a brutal backlash like it did? It could have been handled in such a better manner. I still honestly don’t see what was so bad about what he said. It was basically a free plug and the whole reason it started, Lucas talking about Mike, have all been worked out with Mike personally. I’m not saying that those attacks on him and our show are any excuse for talking about Jeff’s girlfriend the way I did. I felt disgusted that i said those things about someone i didnt even fucking know. I went below my level when I attacked her and jeff and even Steven. I am not trying to make peace with any of you because I know that things have been said and they cant ever really be taken back. If you want the episode down…it’s done by the time this gets posted. It sucks this whole thing spun out of control, but that’s just the way things go i guess.

While, it’s all nice and dandy shows are being taken down, and people are making apologies…I don’t want a fucking apology. I backed Vaughn up on the douchecast and said I didn’t like MHS. Big deal. I didn’t partake in any of the personal bashing other than the occasional “Yeah, fuck them….giggle giggle giggle” and you attached your hatred onto the only facts you know about me…I do a podcast and I have a girlfriend-how very witty of you.
You can say you’re sorry and you are ashamed all you want, but I don’t accept your apology and I still don’t like your podcast-I am one of many people in the podcast community and obviously what I think of your show or you personally doesn’t amount to anything, and I am cool with that.
The only regret I have in all of this is we potentially scared off some potentially alright people (Undead, EvilNate, etc) from ever taking a chance on any of the douchebag shows and for that I am sorry, but I understand where those guys are coming from as well, loyalty is a rare thing and should be cherished.
In closing, as far as I am concerned this issue is over and done in my eyes as well, that is until the day comes if/when you and I, Danny discuss these things…face to face.
I am done thinking, talking, and speaking about this…

That’s fine with me, Jeff. I really didn’t expect you to accept the apology after the things that were said. But just like everything that started this big mess, you ran your fucking mouth and that in the end is why i went at you. So yeah I apologize whether you accept it or not, but I don’t think I was the only one in the wrong between you and me. Jesus, I take off for a few hours to get laid and this shit gets way out of hand.
First off, I was sincere about fucking apologizing to Lucas. I, like most people, have family and friends with disabilities that I would go fucking postal if someone took a shot at. At the same time, I have no problem telling my friend with dyslexia to fucking read a book then get back to me. But that’s my friend. A stranger is a different story. I SHOULD NOT have gone after Lucas handicap. However if Lucas talks shit about Root Rot, whom I admire and is a friend of James, and Mike who is one of us, then yeah, he doesn’t get a free pass, regardless of his handicap. I went about it the wrong way by attacking his speech and hearing, instead of just calling him on his mouth.
Secondly, Danny I don’t blame you for protecting your friend. Obviously, we’d do the same thing here, just with a few laughs about it. But, two wrongs don’t make a right. I never had a problem with you until your little bitchcast attack on Jeff and his girl. Hell, if it wasn’t for that then I wouldn’t have a problem at all with your calling me on my shit. When I’m wrong I’m wrong. But those Canadian Fags… they hold a grudge. And like Vaughn says, we’re brothers. Jeff’s grudge is my grudge.
Third, I was out of this for the most part. My apology was my last public word on this shit, other than to address a voicemail I got, to which I will say that shit happens but I’m not discussing it on my show. You brought me back into it, calling me out by name… even though I haven’t been around. I know why you are hung up on me, but let me explain things: The DBPN has no leader. We each do as we please. We are independent, but we cover each other’s asses. This is not the HPN where there are a bunch of rules and shit. The DBPN is a joke. That’s why it took ten minutes for Lucas to ask the question… you either get the joke or you don’t. You guys don’t. We are a democracy, a brotherhood, and we are autonomous, all at once. That’s why we get shit done.
Fourth, there is nothing in the edited MP3 that didn’t come from your own mouths, so why so pissed? Well, except for the banjo music and the Family Guy clip. But that shit was funny.
Fifth, you said you wanted to take this as far as it goes. You said you “eat this shit up.” You pull your episode down, then back up, then down. You apologize, then take it back, then apologize, then say you don’t regret anything. You’re all over the place. I don’t even know anymore what to respond to.
Finally, as long as it doesn’t disrupt my show (which is disrupted enough by my real life responsibilities), I for one am in this until my brother douchebags are satisfied. Which may be a shame, because you may be a decent guy, Danny. And for the record, there are only 3 people in this world I hate. You aren’t one of them. If you want to hate me, then so be it. I’m too old to care.
